Thinking of you is all I can do,
thinking of you beyond this blue,
I need you, I miss you, I love you,
Oh! I keep thinking of you.

You on my mind in the morning glow,
when music divine haunts me so,
you are the only one under the sun
who can make the teardrops flow.

If friends speak kind words,
I say "beg your pardon"
for when my mind is on you
I'm in a Japanese garden.

So here I am with you again,
the radio playing a love refrain,
I gaze from my window ~ people
think I'm insane, with my faraway
look, and "you on my brain."
